This low traffic, resource rich area features safe roads and a well-developed infrastructure system creating new opportunities in trucking, rail, and warehousing. There are over $30 billion in Major Capital Projects happening right now in the EATC and the province’s transportation system brings over $75 billion of Alberta products to international markets each year.
Surface transportation allows Eastern Alberta producers and manufacturers direct access to key U.S. markets and to ports on Canada’s east and west coasts for offshore destinations. Pipelines from the EATC feed the world’s growing energy needs. When location matters, the EATC is the place to be.
